What to Surucas and Golconda have to do with India Diamonds?

What to Surucas and Golconda have to do with India Diamonds?

Back it 2000 I was on a Diamond exploration project in central India on the famous Golconda mines.

I built a rudimentary washplant literally from sticks and mud. We had a lot of work to do, identifying potential Diamondiferous alluvial gravel.

I am using the Diamond Surucas I have had for many years. We did find some very beautiful and substantial Diamonds on this foray.

I obtained these Surucas when I was on a project in Venezuela. They give you a quick analysis of your sample and are an efficient way to do  cleanups from a small testing plant.
I am very proficient at using these and would recommend anyone who is in the exploration of Diamonds to obtain a set of these and keep in your quiver of tools, for an on the go analysis of grassroots Diamond, Sapphire or any other heavy minerals that you may encounter on your prospecting ventures.

The fellow in the dress is a Mr. John Simms a successful entrepreneur, and adventurer from New Delhi. He was one of the principles in the exploration company I worked for in India. He spent a lot of time in the unbearable heat we endured during the dry season.  There was times you would bend your whole body to get the shade of a leafless branch to get a bit of shade. An optimistic and good boss, he kept us going until we found our first Golconda Diamonds. Don't let the dress fool you he was a tough guy!!!
